Turmeric and Honey: An Effective Natural Antibiotic That not even Doctors Can Explain

September 11, 2018 by Anya 90 Comments

Conventional antibiotics are extremely overused. According to the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) , a whopping 833 antibiotics are prescribed on average per every 1,000 people. These antibiotics are making us very sick. In fact, most health problems can be successfully treated with  a few natural remedies such as honey and turmeric.

Honey is a powerful antibiotic

Did you know that honey fights infections on many levels and doesn’t cause resistant bacteria like conventional antibiotics? Honey is so powerful for destroying bacteria that it should be used first when fighting infections. Scientists found that honey is more powerful  than all antibiotics available. Published in the European Journal of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, the study discovered that the honey was able to kill every bacteria or pathogen they tested it on, and concluded that it could be applied topically to humans to help fight infections like cuts and insect bites. They also noted it could be taken internally.

“Our research is the first to clearly show that these honey-based products could in many cases replace antibiotic creams on wounds and equipment such as catheters. Using honey as an intermediate treatment could also prolong the life of antibiotics.” – Dr. Dee Carter (source)

Turmeric is a powerful Antibiotic

The most important compounds in turmeric are called curcuminoids. As a polyphenol, curcumin possesses several healing properties.  It’s a strong antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-fungal properties.

Beware, a lot of turmeric on the market is fake.  It’s very important to get pure turmeric for it’s therapeutic benefits. This is the one I use – here  The quality matters for this purpose

Turmeric infused honey

Ingredients

¼ cup raw honey (preferably manuka – here )

1 teaspoon ground turmeric. It has to be therapeutic quality like this one

Add 2 drops black pepper essential oil  (or coconut oil for greater absorption)

Instructions

Mix  ¼ cup of honey with  a teaspoon of turmeric powder.

Mix well, cover, and store at room temperature.

Just give the honey mixture a quick stir before using each time.

Take WHEATGRASS

Find the best quality here

It is also composed of 70% chlorophyll, which is one of the best blood-builders out there. Need I say more? all you need is just one shot a day – find it here

That’s wrong. I drink close to eight 22 ounce waters a day and I was riddled with a full right lung, half a left lung of PE’s and a left leg with DVT’s. No genetic disorders found, no reason for it to happen. I’m now on thinners for life. I also eat heavily raw garlic, and onions. Still had blood clots.

have you tried green juice and/or omega 3’s? I have heard they are good blood thinners and am curious to see if you have tried either one.

        Greens are not blood thinners.
Most greens contain high levels of vitamin K which counteracts and serves as an antidote to many blood thinners.

A staph infection is very serious and can be deadly if not treated properly. An infectious disease doctor should diagnose and treat staph infections.

Apparently some of these readers have never experienced a blood clot necessitating the need for blood thinners. It’s a very fine line to walk and mess around with. There are many things you cannot eat, or should not eat while on blood thinners and water alone does not cut it. They saved my life.
