Sterilizing Spices with Harmful Chemicals and Radiation
The manufacturing process for most spices sold in America is not safe. Companies use a sterilization process that uses the hazardous chemical ethylene oxide. When herbs get picked up from the fields to be dried, they are usually contaminated with mold, yeasts, and pathogens. This is why manufacturers fumigate spices with dangerous carcinogenic chemicals.
According to The United States Environmental Protection Agency,
Occupational exposure to ethylene oxide leads to lymphoma and leukemia. Stomach and breast cancers have also been associated with ethylene oxide exposure.
Most Spices Contain MSG
Most spices on the market today contain monosodium glutamate (MSG). MSG can cause fatty liver, high cholesterol, fibromyalgia, obesity, lung cancer, high insulin and blood sugar, neurological and brain health issues. Unfortunately, it’s hard to recognize MSG as it can be called by over 40 names. In fact, MSG does not require labeling if it’s used as a processing agent.
