Why Everyone Should Own a Himalayan salt block

Himalayan salt blocks are probably the safest ways to cook your food. They can also be used  for curing, drying, freezing, caramelizing and more.  And above all – 100% natural!

Once heated, a Himalayan salt block can be used for cooking for many hours. Salt blocks  (here) can be used on the grill, over a gas stove, in the oven and on an electric stove. 

Apple Cider Vinegar lowers blood sugar levels better than Metformin (a popular anti-diabetic medication). This is what I take daily - here 

I recommend the book Salt Block Cooking by Mark Bitterman for the instructions on how to use salt blocks and  more than 70 delicious recipes as well. Here are some of the instructions for heating a salt block (find it here):

  • Salt blocks have to be heated slowly at a rate of 15 minutes per low/medium/high setting
  • Salt blocks need to be cookware-graded blocks.
  • Salt blocks get very hot. Use high-temperature oven mitts.

 

Beware, it can take up to 45 minutes to heat your block before cooking.
