Drop these toxic supplements, they are slowly killing you

August 26, 2018 by Anya 3 Comments

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’ll know that I’m not a big fan of isolated synthetic supplements like calcium supplements. I believe it’s more important to get all the nutrients from whole foods.

Unfortunately, modern nutritional wisdom heavily promotes multivitamins and synthetic nutrients that have been created in the lab.

But did you know that clinical trials have found that most of these multivitamins not only don’t work but actually do more damage than good?  Many of these supplements are loaded with fillers and synthetic ingredients, with little to no active ingredients.

In fact, most popular vitamin supplement brands contain Titanium Dioxide? These brands include:

Centrum

Nature Made

Solgar

One-a-Day

Nature’s Bounty.

Titanium dioxide, a common non-active ingredient in conventional dietary supplements, is used as a white colorant and color enhancer.

Titanium dioxide has recently been classified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as an IARC Group 2B carcinogen. Recently, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) concluded that titanium oxide should not be considered safe as a food additive because of uncertainties about possible inflammation and genotoxicity.

Moreover, your dietary supplements often contain nasty vegetable oils such as  partially hydrogenated soybean oil—one of the major fillers in the majority of vitamins today.

So why does the FDA allow these toxic ingredients in your supplements? They’re cheap fillers.

The truth is…

Most people can get the vitamins and minerals from a healthy well balanced diet which includes whole foods. This is why I highly recommend taking wheatgrass. It’s the best multivitamin!

Why Take Wheatgrass

Wheatgrass is the grass of sprouted wheat. It comes from the cotyledons of the common wheat plant, which are the first leaves that grow from the seeds. Wheatgrass contains most of the vitamins and minerals needed for your body. These include vitamins A, C, E, K and assorted B vitamins. It’s rich in very important minerals like  such as calcium, potassium, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium.

One ounce of wheatgrass juice has the vitamin and mineral equivalent of 2.2 pounds of fresh vegetables.

Just a small serving contains more than 300% of your recommended daily allowance ( of iron, more than 200% of vitamin A, and 90% of  vitamin C, along with 8 grams of fiber. Talk about getting a lot from a little! Wheatgrass  helps protect the body from colds, toxins, and harmful molecules.

Wheatgrass is the best multivitamin

Wheatgrass juice has been proven over many years to benefit people in multiple ways. Wheatgrass cleanses the lymph system, restores balance in the body, nourishes the liver and kidneys.

Alkalizes the body

One of the requirements for keeping good health is maintaining the body in an alkaline state (a little higher than 7 pH).

Various types of cancers and other diseases grow in an acidic environment but barely  exist in an alkaline one.
