Stop Using These Anti-Bacterial Soaps; They are Damaging your Colon

January 15, 2019 by Anya Leave a Comment

Between the  flu season and the viruses, consumers everywhere hurry to buy to products that are designed and marketed to prevent diseases such as hand sanitizers.  However, recently the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a warning letter to hand sanitizer manufacturer Purell telling the company to change their statements about the ability of new hand sanitizer products to reduce transmission of diseases like Ebola, norovirus and influenza.

Hand Sanitizers Dangers

Did you know that on September 2, 2016 the FDA (US Food and Drug Association) banned 19 commonly used ingredients in Anti-Bacterial soap?  In short, The FDA effectively banned anti-bacterial soap saying that the manufacturers did not successfully prove the products to be safe and effective.

Anti-bacterial soaps were first invented by Dial post WW2 for industrial uses.  By the 1960’s they were sold commercially.  Which means, for almost 50 years, our entire family was washing their hands daily with harmful chemicals.  This highlights what I consider the first alarming thing about this story… the fact we are told products are safe by federal regulators, that later turn out to be extremely harmful!  One must wonder what current products we are told are safe but are killing us (i.e. cell phones and constant cellular signals beaming on our brain comes to mind as do a million other man-made products and chemicals prevalent today)?

The second alarming thing about this story is the actual harm these products do!  The main culprit is a chemical called triclosan or triclocarban (which is still included in some brands such as Dial).  The chemical is present in about 75% of liquid antibacterial soaps and about 30% in bar soaps.  It can also be found in some cosmetic products, toothpaste, apparel and kitchenware.  Which means, our exposure to triclosan over a lifetime is dangerously high!  Why?

Triclosan is an endocrine disruptor.  It interferes with important hormone production and regulation within our bodies.  It can disrupt the balance of testosterone and estrogen levels.  These types of hormone interferences are associated with poor sperm quality and count, early puberty, infertility, obesity and even cancer.  Some studies have shown in lab animals imbalance of thyroid hormone levels as well.

Triclosan Damages the Colon

Studies performed on mice found that triclosan  reduced the diversity of the microbiomes in the gut. Therefore, mice became more susceptible to these colon diseases.

DETOX TOXINS FROM YOUR BODY

Fortunately, it is quite easy and inexpensive to cleanse your body of toxic substances by using foods in your diet such as spirulina.

( you can find it here) It is known for its distinctive green color and strong odor.  Spirulina is the most effective food that removes heavy metals from the nervous system and the liver. It has the most detoxifying effect on your body.
