People are Obsessed with “Whipped Coffee” – This is How to Make It

March 28, 2020 by Anya Leave a Comment

Have you heard of Dalgona Coffee? It has made waves on Instagram and TikTok and has quickly become a global coffee trend. It is a fun way of spicing up your regular instant coffee by beating together just 2 ingredients. You can make it healthy by substituting sugar with stevia or any other natural sweetener.

The texture of this creamy coffee mixture is similar to the popular Korean street food snack called Dalgona which made by heating sugar, oil and baking soda together.

All it takes to get this tasty creamy coffee drink is 2 tablespoons each of instant coffee granules, alternative sweetener like stevia and boiling water, whisking until thick!

KETO DALGONA COFFEE – WHIPPED COFFEE

This 3 ingredient keto Dalgona coffee is so easy to make  and incredibly delicious!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons organic instant coffee (here)
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener (I use Stevia)
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1 cup dairy free milk of choice

Directions

  • Add all ingredients to a deep bowl. Using a hand mixer,  whip the mixture until thick and pale – about 3 minutes.
  • Pour the dairy free milk into a tall glass with a few ice cubes in it and top with the mixture, using a spatula to coax it out of the bowl.
