How to Lower Blood Pressure Fast Naturally

Recently many brands of high blood pressure medications have been recalled as federal investigators found potentially cancer-causing particles in them.

In a citizen petition filed to the FDA,  high levels of dimethylformamide were found  in the hypertension medication valsartan, manufactured by several companies. Dimethylformamide has been linked to cancer and other diseases.

High blood pressure or hypertension  can lead to several health problems which include heart attack, stroke and even kidney problems. This is why it is vital to check your blood pressure regularly. Diet and exercise can help keep your blood pressure at normal levels. In fact, several foods and spices like turmeric can effectively regulate blood pressure.

Turmeric consists of curcumin, a very strong anti-oxidant  which possesses incredible anti-inflammatory properties. It has been found to help lower blood cholesterol and blood pressure. Curcumin is able to keep your blood vessels healthy and protect the cells.

Therefore, taking turmeric for high blood pressure can be a great alternative remedy. Adults can take 400 to 600 mg of organic curcumin powder 3 times daily. If you take medications like Warfarin, or diabetes, you should ask your doctor before adding turmeric tea to your diet.

CoQ10.

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is an antioxidant that plays a vital role in protecting the heart. Levels of CoQ10 decrease with age and are lower in patients with high blood pressure, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes.

In one study, after analyzing 12 clinical studies, researchers found that CoQ10 has the potential to lower systolic blood pressure by up to 17 mm Hg and diastolic blood pressure by 10 mm Hg, without significant side effects. (study)

Garlic.

Eating raw garlic is one of the best ways you can use garlic to lower your blood pressure.  Additionally, several trials have found that certain garlic supplements can have a significant impact on blood pressure in people with high blood pressure, with an average reduction of 8.4 mmHg (systolic) and 7.3 mmHg (diastolic).
