Dandelion Tea Helps Prevent Strokes, Heart attacks, Migraines, Blood clots

Did you know that dandelion is an amazing food and medicine? Though most people view dandelions as pesky weeds that are super invasive, they are the most nutritious plants around.It has been used for centuries as a food and as a medicine to treat anemia, eczema, psoriasis, blood disorders, and depression.

Dandelions contain high amounts of Vitamin A and  C, fiber, potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and phosphorus. They are rich in trace minerals, Vitamin K and Vitamin D too. They have more protein than spinach.

Dandelions are extremely rich in Vitamin K; they contain over 500 percent of your daily value.  It is an essential fat-soluble vitamin that is much needed for our bones and heart health. Vitamin K is important in bone mineralization. In fact, Vitamin K builds bones better than calcium!

Digestion

Dandelion  is a diuretic. It helps with digestion, balances the bacteria in the intestines, stimulates appetite. It helps the kidneys to excrete toxic waste and excess water by stimulation urine production.

How to Use Dandelions

  • Steep one tablespoon of roots, leaves, or flowers in 6 ounces of boiled water for about 15 minutes 
  • Strain the roots, leaves, and flowers or drink them up with your tea.

    If you were to take dandelions for the liver how would you take them or prepare them
