There are a few proven causes for the dramatic increase in people with diabetes over the past decades such as a carb rich diet, smoking and being overweight, plus a genetic predisposition. But there is one shocking cause of Diabetes Type 2 that nobody is aware of.
If you love rice, especially brown rice, you are voluntarily increasing your risk of getting Diabetes Type 2!
BUT, did you know that there is an overwhelming evidence that your exposure to arsenic in rice also contributes to the rise in this disease?
A Cause of Diabetes Type 2 – Arsenic Exposure
Arsenic
So what is arsenic? Arsenic is a naturally occurring chemical element. In fact, arsenic exposure through your drinking water and food is a cause of diabetes type 2.
It enters soil and water from the erosion of rocks, volcanic eruptions, contamination from mining and the use of this chemical as a preservative in wood products and as pesticides.
The main reason you’re exposed to arsenic is that it enters the soil that food grows in and and water that most likely comes out of your tap.
In fact, a 2013 study discovered that for every 15 mg/L (milligrams per liter) increase in arsenic concentration in drinking water, the risk for diabetes went up by 27%.
Toxic Rice full of Arsenic: Rice Can Cause Type 2 Diabetes and Lung Cancer
Why rice, you might ask? Well, rice is the only major crop that needs to grow in flooded conditions. This flooding releases inorganic arsenic making rice the most concentrated source of inorganic arsenic According to the European Food Standards Authority , people who eat a lot of rice are exposed to troublesome concentrations.
Chronic exposure can cause many health problems such as heart disease, diabetes, bladder and lung cancers.

Detox Your Body from Arsenic
We all have toxic arsenic in our bodies. When heavy metals get into your body they usually accumulate and disrupt vital functions in organs such as the brain, heart, kidneys, liver. They displace nutritional minerals from where they need to be so that they are no longer doing their job.
