Our skin is our body’s largest organ. What we put on our bodies absorbs directly into our cells and our health. Just as you can absorb vitamins and minerals through the skin, you can also absorb chemicals. Overtime toxic chemicals accumulate leading to irreversible damage. In fact, it takes as little as 26 seconds for these toxins to be absorbed from the skin and enter the bloodstream.
Check your ingredient list to see if your body wash contains any of the following chemicals: sulfates, parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, triclocarban, formaldehyde, and all fragrances.
Making your own all-natural body wash is easier than you think. This homemade body wash is truly incredible. It’s the unique combination of nourishing natural ingredients for the skin that makes this body wash so moisturizing and gentle.
