In reply to Penny. FYI - A person can wear glasses and not have macular degeneration. And yes, when your grandma used bacon grease, they had glasses even then. I agree with you but your correlation between glasses and canola oil doesn't work.

My husband grows canola which is an oilseed crop. It was originally called “rape” but because of political correctness had to have its name changed. Maybe you should truthfully investigate this crop with qualified people before spreading “your version” of the truth!!
