Salt makes one thirsty, and if the salt contains the proper minerals, it absorbs into ones vital parts - especially arteries and blood vessels - and allows them to flex again when needed. But the table salt, as you mentioned, is totally adulterated and does more harm than good. I buy the mineralized salt with also selenium added from the livestock feed store, in granular form. I used it for 6 months, while not using the table salt, and my blood pressure dropped significantly.]]></description>

Hi Rona! You are right himalayan salt barely has any iodine but no salt has it in it&#039;s natural state either. Iodine is usually added to the salt. So I would just use good unprocessed sea salt with added iodine .]]></description>
